Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By purchasing or using a lamasim eSIM plan, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. The Service

lamasim sells prepaid data-only eSIM plans for international travel. Plans include a fixed data allowance (e.g. 1 GB, 10 GB) or unlimited data with a fair-use policy, valid for a stated number of days from first activation. Voice and SMS are not included unless explicitly stated.

3. eSIM Delivery & Activation

After purchase, your eSIM QR code is delivered to your registered email address within minutes. You are responsible for ensuring your device is eSIM-compatible and unlocked. lamasim is not responsible for inability to install due to a carrier-locked device.

eSIMs activate when your device connects to a supported network in the destination country. The validity period begins on first activation, not purchase date.

4. Fair Use (Unlimited Plans)

Unlimited plans are subject to a fair-use threshold. If your usage significantly exceeds typical traveler patterns (indicative limit: 5 GB/day), speeds may be throttled. Unlimited plans are intended for personal travel use; tethering is permitted for personal devices only.

See our Refund Policy for full details. In summary: unused eSIMs (never activated) are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Activated eSIMs are non-refundable.

6. Prohibited Uses

• Reselling or transferring eSIM profiles to third parties
• Using eSIMs for commercial hotspot services or bandwidth resale
• Circumventing network fair-use policies through automated traffic
• Violating local telecommunications laws in the destination country

7. Service Availability

Network coverage depends on our eSIM provider (Airalo) and local carrier availability. lamasim does not guarantee uninterrupted service in all locations within a covered country. Coverage maps are indicative only.

8. Limitation of Liability

lamasim's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected plan. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages including roaming charges incurred through alternative means, data loss, or business interruption.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by English law. Disputes will be resolved in English courts unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
